This page explains statutory withdrawal/cancellation rights that may apply to consumers. It is not a promise of a universal 14-day return period. The applicable right depends on the customer’s location, the law that applies and the type of contract.
1. Germany, EU and EEA consumers
For many qualifying distance contracts, consumers protected by German/EU/EEA law generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal without giving a reason. The starting point and the conditions differ for services, digital content and physical goods.
2. Personalized services
Personalized astrology, tarot, numerology and similar reports are treated by SOLVANA as services. Personalization by itself does not automatically remove a statutory withdrawal right that applies to a service contract.
If you expressly request that SOLVANA begins a paid service before the statutory withdrawal period ends, work may begin immediately. Where the legal requirements are met, the withdrawal right may expire when the service has been fully performed. If you validly withdraw after requesting early performance but before completion, applicable law may require payment for the proportion of the service already provided.
3. Digital content supplied immediately
For paid digital content not supplied on a physical medium—such as an immediately downloadable PDF or guide—the statutory withdrawal right can expire when digital delivery/access begins if you expressly consent to immediate supply before the withdrawal period ends, acknowledge the resulting loss of the withdrawal right, and receive the legally required confirmation. If those requirements are not met, the statutory right may continue.
4. Memberships and subscriptions
A statutory right to withdraw from an initial membership/subscription contract, where applicable, is separate from the contractual right to stop future renewals. Cancellation of future renewal does not automatically create a refund entitlement for a period already supplied or paid. Additional mandatory subscription rules may apply depending on the customer’s jurisdiction.
5. Physical goods
For consumers protected by German/EU distance-selling law, qualifying purchases of physical goods generally carry a 14-day statutory withdrawal period. The period generally begins when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods. Where one order is delivered in separate shipments, the applicable starting point may depend on receipt of the last item or shipment.
To exercise a valid withdrawal, the consumer must send a clear statement before the deadline. Goods must then be returned without undue delay and within the applicable legal return period. Unless SOLVANA has agreed otherwise or mandatory law provides otherwise, the consumer bears the direct return costs where this has been properly disclosed. SOLVANA may withhold reimbursement where permitted until the goods are returned or proof of return is provided.
Statutory exceptions apply to certain categories, including some goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized. Mandatory rights concerning defective, damaged or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
6. United Kingdom
UK consumers may have comparable cancellation rights for distance contracts. For downloadable or streamed digital content supplied during the cancellation period, UK rules generally require express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost when supply begins.
7. United States, Canada, Australia and other countries
This Withdrawal Policy does not grant a 14-day cooling-off right where the law applicable to the customer does not provide one. In the United States and many other markets, return/cancellation rights for ordinary online purchases may depend heavily on the seller’s disclosed policy and specific federal/state or local rules. In Canada, consumer rules can vary by province or territory. In Australia, mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies cannot be excluded. In every country, SOLVANA will honor mandatory consumer protections that legally apply to the transaction.
8. Electronic withdrawal function
If a statutory withdrawal right is currently available for your contract, you can submit a withdrawal electronically below. You do not need to give a reason. This function does not determine in advance whether a withdrawal right exists or whether it has already expired; SOLVANA will assess the request under the applicable law and the status of the order.
